Good Morning!

Good Morning! Today is the final day of the National Amateur and we are here at the 10th Series! In a few short hours we will be finding out who will become the National Amateur Field Champion of 2023. Excitement is definitely in the air!! (Note: We have some interesting stats coming up in the next blog post on the dogs that have been called back to this series, so be sure to watch for that!)

This morning we will have a parade of 10th Series contestants which will begin at 7:45 am (MT). And at the conclusion of the parade, test dogs will be ready at the line and begin running at 8:00 am. After both test dogs finish, the first running dog (#87) will begin the series!

This morning is starting out at about 50 degrees currently, with highs this afternoon heading into the mid 70's. The skies are mostly cloudy and there is almost no wind or breeze. We will update any conditions as they happen.

We will be bringing you all of the action from the 10th Series as soon as it begins! All of our well wishes and best of luck goes out to all of the 10th Series competitor teams today! You have all worked very hard to be here. Congratulations!

Good Morning!

Good Morning Everyone! This morning we are starting off the 8th Series - Water Blind at the 2023 NARC event. The test dogs are finishing up running as I type, and they will begin the first running dogs shortly thereafter. 

The conditions this morning have been crisp with sunny skies again and not much more than a light breeze. The temp is currently at 43 degrees, and we are expecting a high in the mid 70's this afternoon. Clouds will be moving in, and the wind might pick up a little as the day goes on, but we will update with any new conditions as the day goes progresses.

Right now it is a beautiful day to watch these talented dogs at work! Good Luck to all the teams that have made it to the 8th!

Good Morning! 7th Series

 Good Morning Everyone! This morning we are kicking off the 7th Series of the NARC event. The test dogs are running now and we will begin at 7:00 am. The morning has been cool with sunny skies and temps around 35 degrees, with an expected high around 70. We will update with any new conditions as the day goes on.

Good Morning - Day 4 of the NARC

Good Morning! Today we are kicking off the 5th Series with 82 dog teams that were called back to run this test. We are officially at the Mid-point of this National, where the challenges are increasing and the best of the best are giving 100%!

This test will be a Land Quad and is sure to be a challenge for all. We will see which teams are up for this challenging test!

The weather conditions here today are currently in the low 40's temperature-wise, and should be going up to around 60 this afternoon. There is barely a light breeze currently and the skies are sunny with a few clouds. There is a chance for rain to move back into the area later this morning with isolated storms. But will hopefully just be partly cloudy this afternoon.

We are starting the 5th series as I type ... looking forward to an exciting day at this National!

3rd Series - Day 2

 Good Morning! Today we are starting out back at the 3RD SERIES to finish running the 26 dogs that still need to run this test. 

This is the first morning of the 2023 NARC that has started without rain!  It is about 41 degrees here this morning with a light 5mph SSE winds. We will run one test dog and then begin with the first running dog #86 soon!

There will be one gun change in the remainder of this series after dog #103.

We are looking forward to a great day of some awesome dog work!

Good Morning Everyone and Welcome to the 2023 National Amateur Retriever Championship! This morning we are kicking off the event at the 1st and 2nd series test location. The test dogs have just run and we are ready to begin. The morning has been cool and rain has been going through the area. Currently we are at around 52 degrees, with an expected high around 70. Rain and drizzle looks to be expected throughout the day. We will update with conditions
